You may come with an intention. An intention is a seed that, when nourished, guides you through life, helps you make important decisions, and reminds you of what is most important to you.

Your retreat will also differ depending on your length of stay, how deep you wish to go, and the level of independence or support you feel you need. Longer retreats such as the “Ayurveda Panchakarma” bring deeper transformation. Choose from one of the many awarding wellness programs from 5-21 nights.

Dinning

At Kamalaya you are nourished into health, it is not about juices and fasting. Our vision is that food should be artful, healing in function and tantalizing in form. By using fresh, local and as much as possible organic produce and cooking methods, we merge culinary traditions of East and West in new innovative ways. The menus reflect our philosophy and include extensive vegetarian options, as well as seafood, poultry and lamb dishes.

Soma Restaurant – Enjoy the tasting menus for breakfast and dinner, offering spectacular views of the coast. Intimate tables are arranged throughout the two level venue, in addition to a Community Table where guest are invited to dine together.
Amrita café – Nestled among lotus pounds and the pool, is the venue for enjoying a tasteful lunch.
Alchemy Tea Lounge – located above Soma restaurant, serves a wide range of teas, juices, herbal infusions, desserts and wine. A perfect spot for watching the sunset.

Dining

Food at Six Senses Vana is guided by our Eat With Six Senses philosophy, artistically displayed, medicinal, and delicious – based on your body type and the objectives of your retreat. All ingredients, of course, are locally sourced, seasonal, fresh, and organic. After all, in India, food has always been seen as an offering to the divine.

Salana:
Salana’s contemporary wellness cuisine draws inspiration from life. The main restaurant and meeting space, with menus that change with the seasons. Menus are à la carte and accompanied by a carefully chosen buffet at breakfast and lunch. The include allergy-friendly, vegetarian, and vegan options as well as mindfully sourced meat, fish, and poultry.

Añayu:
The cuisine is also a vital contributor to the preservation and revival of our culture and traditions. Bringing together Indian inspired recipes and Ayurvedic principles, Añayu’s menu is crafted to serve each of the three body types – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

Time for Tea:
Situated within Kila, the nerve center of the Retreat, the tea bar brews traditional remedies like Bramhi and dosha-balancing blends that favor Vata, Pitta, or Kapha. You can explore exotic infusions with homegrown lavender, tulsi, chamomile, cinnamon, fennel, and carom seeds while relaxing in serene surroundings or while listening to occasional traditional Indian live music performances.
